Managing Director

Phedra’s journey started with a love of horses beginning at the tender age of 2, forging a lifelong connection within riding. Today, she proudly owns 10 horses and competes with them on a national level, a testament to her skill, dedication, and love for equestrian pursuits.

Phedra’s dedication and perseverance saw her rise through the ranks over the course of 12 years, culminating in her role from administration to a senior broker. Her expertise and reputation in the field were such that she was headhunted by Blue Arrow Care in 2018, a move that marked a significant milestone in her career trajectory. Her extensive background in adult social care, coupled with her expertise in safeguarding, positions her as a valuable asset to Blue Arrow Care. As the designated safeguarding lead, Phedra draws upon her wealth of experience and training to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals within the community. Joining Blue Arrow Care 5 years ago Phedra is now an integral part of the team, infusing her work with a deep-seated passion for providing compassionate and empathetic service to those in need.

It was through her work that she crossed paths with Lucy, and their professional connection blossomed into a personal union, culminating in marriage in 2023.

Driven by a profound sense of purpose and a commitment to making a positive difference, Phedra continues to embody the values of integrity, compassion, and excellence in all aspects of her life and work.

Onboarding Team

At the age of 16, Lucy walked out of the school gates and into the realm of care, setting forth on a transformative journey that would shape her future. Despite the hurdles, she excelled, swiftly ascending to the role of care manager by the tender age of 17.

By 20, Lucy embarked on a courageous venture, founding Blue Arrow Care with a steadfast commitment to delivering compassionate and high-quality care to those in need. Her achievement of becoming the youngest manager registered by the CQC underscored her dedication and leadership prowess.

Armed with qualifications including a QCF Level 3 and nearing completion of a Level 5 in Health and Social Care, specialising in Management and Leadership, Lucy remains steadfast in her pursuit of continuous improvement to better serve the community.

Her accolades include receiving the Regional and National Registered Manager Award at the Great British Care Awards 2019 and being honored as a COVID Hero by the same esteemed institution. Lucy was also distinguished as part of the esteemed Thirty Under Thirty Care Show Class of 2023 and ranked No. 5 in the Top 100 Female Entrepreneurs by E2E, an independent authority in entrepreneurship.

Meet Richard, a dynamic professional who has carved a unique career path with passion and determination. Richard kickstarted his journey in the world of finance at a young age, sparking his enduring interest in the intricacies of financial systems. His drive and ambition soon led him to pivot into the fast-paced realm of sales and marketing within the FMCG food sector, where he flourished.

His career trajectory soared as he climbed the ranks to become a National Account Controller within a prominent multimillion-pound company, engaging with top-tier UK retailers at the executive level. Despite his remarkable success in this corporate arena, Richard felt a calling for greater autonomy and entrepreneurship.

Fuelled by his hunger for knowledge, Richard pursued further education, completing a university course in Business Management. Empowered by his newfound skills and knowledge, he embarked on a new venture in the care sector, despite having no prior experience in the field. Against the odds, Richard demonstrated his innate ability to thrive in diverse business environments, achieving notable success in various care-related ventures. Today, he continues to lead a thriving care business alongside his partner, leaving an indelible mark on the industry.

Richard’s journey intersected with that of Lucy and Phaedra, forming a strong bond forged through their shared values and commitment to excellence in care provision. His genuine passion for delivering high-quality care through effective business management is evident in every endeavor he undertakes.

Marketing Director

With a foundation in compassionate care, Julie began her journey as a registered nurse, dedicating herself to the well-being of others. Her expertise and commitment led her to ascend to the role of Director of Nursing and Quality, where she refined her skills in ensuring excellence healthcare standards.

Driven by a desire to provide holistic care, Julie ventured into ownership of nursing homes, where she meticulously crafted environments that prioritised both physical and emotional comfort for residents.

Currently, Julie serves as the Director of a reputable live-in care business, spearheading initiatives to empower individuals to live life to the fullest within the comfort of their own homes. Additionally, she lends her expertise as a Marketing Executive for the esteemed Blue Arrow Care Group, merging her healthcare background with strategic marketing to enhance access to quality care services across communities.

Through her journey, Julie remains steadfast in her commitment to enhancing the quality of life for all she serves, embodying a blend of healthcare expertise and strategic vision to drive positive change in the industry. In her spare time Julie has a passion for interior design, travel, music and theatre.
